Community Conduct
Gaia RP is committed to providing a safe place for players to explore their creativity through roleplay. We expect our members to be respectful of one another at all times. This means that behavior that causes discomfort, or disruption to another player's experience while in our community will not be tolerated. Do your part to keep the community a positive and fun place to be by treating everyone with respect.

Minimum Age Requirement:

Our server is primarily an 18+ server. 

However, if you are between the ages of 16-18, and you have 1-2 players who are 18+ who can and will vouch for you, an exception can be made. 

How to apply for an Age Exception:

• After applying for whitelisting, please open a whitelist ticket on discord

• Write a clear request of why you are asking for the exception.

• Include the name(s) of the player(s) who are willing to vouch for you. 

Please Note: We allow this exception to exist for those who want a safe place to try roleplay. Do not abuse it. 

No Bullying & Harassment
We have a 0 tolerance policy when it comes to bullying, discrimination or harassment (including griefing, racial slurs, trolling and hate speech) of any kind in our community. This includes both in-character and out of character.

No Cheating or Using Exploits.
Cheating, hacking or use of third party programs or scripts that actively grant an unfair advantage is prohibited while playing on our servers. If you are suspected of cheating, your whitelisting may be temporarily revoked while the staff team investigates the claims. If you find a glitch, or in-game exploit, please submit a ticket.

No Fire-starting
Purposefully antagonizing other members of the community by engaging in heated arguments, speaking ill of fellow role-players and staff or trolling in chat will not be tolerated. You represent our community when you are part of our community. Be respectful of others, even when disagreeing about something.

Safe Content
All content shared within our community must abide by Discord Terms of Service, GaiaRP Terms of Service, Twitch Terms of Service, and Twitch Community Guidelines.

English
We welcome players from all over the world. But because we are a North American server, we ask that our players please speak and write in English fluently enough that they can understand and be understood both in and out of character.

Advertising
Players may advertise other roleplay servers and content within the channel specified for it.

 

Streams
Streamers:

• Streamers are expected to follow TOS for Twitch and GRP. 

Viewers:

• Do not lurk in streams in order to catch "information" and use it in character. We will ban for this.

• Show your streamer love, lurk in their streams, laugh at the shenanigans, but DO NOT:

      1) stalk them in-game,
      2) harass them in-game or in their chat 
     3) abuse their stream for information
     4) talk smack about characters you do not like.

​Words have power. Be kind. 

Spamming
Excessively posting random nonsense, or the same/similar phrase over and over again or other types of disruptive behavior in an effort to cause agitation will not be tolerated within our community.

Banned Content
Banned content as seen below is not permitted and may result in the permanent removal from our community. This includes usernames, avatars, connected profile content and any link that directly navigates to such content.

• Sexually explicit content

• Rape and Sexual Assault

• Child Abuse and Pedophilia

• Bestiality and Necrophilia

• Slavery and Human Trafficking

• Suicide and forms of Self Harm

• Symbols associated with hate groups

• Terrorism (includes genocide, war-mongering etc)

• Images of bodily fluids or excrement
   

Ruleplaying
The rules represent a clear image of our standards and expectations, while they are not exhaustive, we do expect our players to understand the "idea" of the rules at all times. Players are not allowed to abuse syntax, ambiguity or apply false interpretation in order to get around the rules laid out here.

Staff Discretion

• The GRP staff team have ultimate discretion over what they consider to be a breach of server rules, unacceptable actions or behaviors that create a negative environment for the community as a whole.

• The GRP staff team have the right to alter, add or remove rules at any given time, without notice. 

Community & Server Support

• Please refrain from directly messaging anyone on the staff team - this includes Owners, Staff, Moderators, Storytellers, and Devs. If you have questions, concerns or need assistance in some way, we have a secure ticket system in place for the community to use. Please be submit a ticket, and patiently wait for a staff member to contact you.
